Several key actions sounding in Brittany as the key stages in the development of eco-design applied to yachting : the trimaran Gwalaz, the Blue Wave ® Eco-design brand and the sailboat future project. This work illustrates the interest and ability of Brittany to join the worlds of research, racing and business to the technological innovations necessary steps to emerge eco-design and initiate industrial programs holders future for the sector. On the one hand the Brittany Region launched a working group on "Educating the sea", in partnership with the REEB, Network of Environmental Education of Britain, and the Rector of the Academy of Rennes. 

 

All of these initiatives also reflect the mobilization of all the actors from the sea, boating and the environment in Brittany for sustainable practices.
